Jackson Square and Woldenberg Riverfront Park became the site of the "World's
Largest Jazz Brunch" operating amidst musical performances with nearly 60
booths serving a variety of beverages and specialties from well-known New Orleans
restaurants.
In addition to local favorites like Pat O'Brien's Hurricanes, visitors also
enjoyed Jambalaya, Blackened Catfish, Crawfish Etouffee, File Gumbo, Red Beans
& Rice, Alligator Sausage, Bread Pudding and Cajun Meat Pies. Foodies are
treated to Big Easy Baby Back Ribs, Shrimp & Tasso Tortellini, Brisket of
Beef with Horseradish Sauce, Crabmeat Ravioli Aurora, Cochon du Lait Roll Up with
Macque Choux Salad, Mint Julep Ice Cream, and Key Lime Pie! Most dishes were priced
at $2-$4. |
